Savage trigger?

I just purchased a gun that has a savage trigger. This is not the adjustable one that comes with the little tool. It looks like a accu-trigger just nothing I can see to adjust it. It seems to be a fairly good trigger just too heavy of a pull. Any suggestions

Going to have to see a picture. I understand that all Savage Accutriggers are the same...... just different springs and a special sear on target model, red blade.

If it is adjustable,(tool has a little yellow head and a slotted stem) there is a spring behind the trigger. The tool goes in the hole of the big spring. In the hole you will find a place to insert the tool with the slot. Insert tool and turn. Forget which direction does what, but you will find out.
