savage thread size

what is the thread size on a savage 10FP action ?
and is that the large or small type ?

1 and 1/16" 20TPI It is the small shank.

I think the small shank Savages are 1.055 and 20TPI.......
1 1/16th is 1.062.5....... and is the large shank for the WSM's..

1.055 is the small shank, but I think most folks refer to it as 1 1/16 . The large shank is closer to 1 1/8 and one can easily see a step on the outside of the barrel near where the chamber would end.
