Savage Target Action????

Could someone tale me the screw size for the Savage Target Action and where I can order SS screws for my Savage build.

The action screws are 1/4 28. Any hardware store should have what you need. I dont like to use stainless steel bolts on stainless action becase of the galding that can happen.

Most of the Harware stores I have visited don't carry any 1/4-28 button head allen bolts over 1" long. I ordered 1 box of each length that is needed for my Rem. and Sav. actions from a local Fastenall Store, I think you could do the same from Mcmaster Carr.

Thank you all for the reply's. I think I'm going to use a V Block bedding block and go from there.
