Savage Target Action Bolt Face Change

I currently have a rifle in a 308 sporting a Savage Target Action (RBLP) with a .473 bolt face. I want to use this as switch barrel rifle and I am contemplating going the 7 mm SAUM route. Can someone please tell me what bolt face do I need (I believe is a .540) and what process/other parts are involved in changing this. Also where is the best place to find these components. Thank you.

I'm not sure you'd need the CRF or std magnum, it needs to be left hand though if you want ejection. If you don't need ejection and are going to pluck cases out the righty will work. Depends on if yours is a center feed repeater, DBM repeater or single shot as to how complicated things will get.

Looks like some model 16's were built with a left hand push feed magnum bolt face, but sorry no part numbers listed. Model 16FL***.
