I take my hat off to Savage for thinking a bit out of the box on this straight pull actioned rifle. Conventional bolt actions are ingrained in the shooting public's mind but there is always room for reconsideration. I have shot a K31 a lot over the last 15 years and find it easy to operate and extremely accurate. It did take some getting used to but like most things I got used to it. Good for Savage.
