Savage stocks: centerfeed vs. stagger

I'm doing a 110 Long Action build and thinking a B&C tactical medalist might be the right stock. Only problem is my action is a ceterfeed and B&C only seems to make staggerfeeds, at least in long action. What's the difference between centerfeed and staggerfeed when it comes to stocks? Can I use a staggerfeed stock to work with a centerfeed or modify it to work without too much drama?

I have converted a couple of laminates and all it takes is somes shims and some epoxy and a little time to fit it all, this is for the blind mag models. I never tried on a dbm or hinged floor plate so I don't know if those can be or even if worth trying to convert.

Instead of buying one that doesnt fit,go to stockade stocks website.Kevin Rayhill makes a variety of drop in stocks for both types of magazines and are of better quality than b&c stocks. His number is: 1-308-432-5114

The Choate tactical stock is pretty decent. Only issue is the magazine. You've got to get a single shot follower or some different bottom metal (CDI Precision makes a DBM setup that takes AICS mags). Just a couple of options. This is the same PITA the guys doing Stevens 200 builds (like myself) have to go through. :(
