I bought this rifle few months back here on AS and this is basically the post he used when I bought it.
Savage model 12 with almost new Wilson 26 inch barrel chambered in 22x47 Lapua 1-8 twist
Threaded 5/8-24 and is 1.080 at muzzle Have 200 pcs of Peterson 6x47 brass that has been necked down and turned . Will also come with custom micrometer seating die.
Gun sits inside a Oryx chassis and has a vortex strike Eagle FFP 5-25x56 MOA scope with EGW pic rail and pacific tool and gauge precision ground bolt head and upgraded extractor and ejector kits . Trigger set at 14oz
Shoots 1 hole groups with Berger 80.5 full bores .
I have shot this rifle with maybe 15 rounds he sent. It SHOOTS as advertised. I did a basic ladder test with 80 ELD-M's (maybe 30 rounds) and the Hornadys show great promise as well. Velocity range was 3200-3330 with H4350. I can share load data of what I have done. The rifle is super clean and the brake works fantastically. The caliber seems to be a great choice. And surprisingly I really love the chassis it is in. Its a true HOTROD of a 22 for sure! Be a fantastic PD rig or for PRS.
I've added 2 mags 5 and 10 round
I'm simply just NOT a Savage fan. Been spoiled by my BAT actions so I'm going to build a rig.
I will sell with or without scope.
