Savage small shank Barrel?

I noticed SPR- bug holes.com has 6.5mm Bartlein Savage small shanked barrels. I realize the barrels need to be chambered, do they need threaded also for a barrel nut? On the other hand if not pre-threaded can they be shouldered into a Savage action, and if so what would be different from this barrel and Bartlein barrels regular blanks? Thanks just trying to learn something before talking to my gunsmith.

If they're Savage Small Shank they are already threaded, but need to be chambered unless they list a cartridge in the description on them. Should be the same as any other Bartlein of the same caliber and twist, just threaded for a Savage nut.

Thank You, that’s what I needed to know!

Those are blanks with a 1.055" shank. Buy a standard blank if you want to fit it with a conventional shoulder.
