I contacted Savage a couple years ago and they sent me one free of charge best I remember. It was for a used rifle.

Savage is really good that way as long a you have the serial number of the rifle.

Some items Savage frowns on selling to the public but it is worth a shot. If that doesn’t work call Gunshack. They may special order one for you. A local Gunsmith in your area could also do the same thing.
Just a part that usually isn’t an extra item for us.
