Bolt lift. Despise the bolt lift. When they went from the staggered magazine in the short action to the stacked mag. the screw spacing went from something like 4.275 to 4.4. Stocks won't interchange. I bought a short action once and built it. Found out the hard way. It's gone now. Savage makes a decent rifle at its price point. I'm not a fan of the trigger and some other stuff but that's just me. They have a huge following. If you don't do threading and chambering the barrel nut system allows you to change out barrels pretty easy.
My friend has a 110BA 300wm. Large shank, long action, dbm.Large shank SA repeater series were the WSM's calibers
Never seen a LA 110 magnum repeater action large shank

Wierd!
All my long action magnums are small shank, my WSMs are all large shank.
YepThe 110 BA is a different animal
338 Lapua maybe ?
were these round top actions?if you can find a F12 Palma 3.4 spaced 3 screw action buy it...it is the best action Sav makes
These are the Savage single shot PTA's. Yes, round top.were these round top actions?
How so? I see no evidence of that myself.Remington has definitely cheapened there rifles. I'll never own another Remington. Right now I have some Savage's, at least 6.
1 Hall action rifle
1 Zermatt Origin action rifle
2 ARC Nucleus action rifles.
Lifes to short to shoot another Remington.
My three screw target action will soon be a four screw if I don’t sell it.
