Savage MKIIFVT target with peep sights thoughts?

Hi all
I am wondering if any of you have used, looked at a MKIIFVT. The T stands for the factory peep sights.
Just wondering the quality of what the sights are.
Thanks

I have always liked Savage centerfires so wondered about the rimfires of course, read a bunch of reviews that all proclimed the accuracy was great, and it was we found out. My brother bought the peep sight version, I bought a scope version in .22 and my wife bought one in .17. We enjoy them very much, testing the many .22 rimfire ammo you can get amazing accuracy out of a rifle for less than 500 bucks and have a lot of fun doing so. It's not my only .22 but it is one of my favorites.

In my humble opinion, Savage MKII's (regardless of which model you get) are the most efficient and most accurate GENERAL PRODUCTION rimfire rifle made today. As was previously stated, the key to them (as well as all rimfire rifles) is finding out which particular ammo it likes the best. And with rimfires, the old adage of "what works in my rifle may not work as well in yours" is a reality. Sure listen to suggestions from people using a like rifle, but you must test because you won't know until you test. I have two MKII's (different model) and one likes the what used to be $5 Wolf Match Target, but the other likes Federal Ultra Match UM22 that used to run around $14 a box. And neither liked any of the ELey ammos nor the Lapua's that my Anschutz shots relatively well. My point is simply that the Savage is a great buy (especially for the money) but you do have to find which ammo she'll put a real smile on your face, especially if you want to become serious. One word of caution though, it is unrealistic to believe OR EXPECT that your $400 rifle will perform as well as a $1500 rifle. But if you want to have pure fun and enjoyment, that Savage will make your day.

Good Luck and have fun.
