Savage M25 22 hornet

I friend has a Savage m25 in 22 hornet and wants to know if there is a steel or stainless steel magazine that will replace the plastic magazine it came with. He is a commercial gator hunter and doesn't like the plastic magazine and how hard it is to make it catch in the bottom metal. I have fixed the catch part on a Bmag and think I can on this gun but if a metal magazine exist I would like to start with the magazine that he will use. thanks for looking Mark

No other mag available out there. I once had an early Model 25 in .17 Hornet; it had a burred-over barrel crown, shot flyers and wouldn't feed or eject reliably. So bad I was able to convince the dealer to trade for a .22 Hornet in the same model, but sent that one back to the factory to correct some problem -- what, I can't remember.
First time I tried to chamber a round after getting it back, the plastic magazine came apart (probably from hitting the ground after often becoming "un-catched" also.) Glued it back together and immediately traded it on a C-Z, which I should've bought in the first place (and, it has a metal magazine.)
