Savage LRPV 6BR

Have a new 6br LRPV... who can tell me how to polish the action to make it a bit smoother, and with what? I should think as well there are a few gun smiths out there who could do the job.
Looking to fit the Savage 6br caliber into a McMillan or Kelby any advice, for the 600yrd man. Want to balance the gun as well, so weights or heavy butt plate?

Try some JB Bore Cleaning paste. Put it on the sliding portions of the bolt and work it a BUNCH.

Be careful to NOT get it on the rear portion of the locking lugs - will change headspace a very small amount.
