Savage FP10

I'm new to the shooting world and recently purchased a savage FP10 in 308. I love the gun and it seems to produce groups of .50 at 100yds, and similar results at 200 yds, but at 300 yds I am having some trouble. I have been shooting Federal Gold Medal Match 168 Ammo. I want to know what i can do to improve the accuracy. Thanks for any and all advice.

Half moa accuracy out of a factory rifle using factory ammo is rare. You may be able to do better if you reload your ammo and pillar bed the stock. A light trigger pull is also conducive to accuracy.

there is a world of difference between 200 & 300 yards. Wind is the big bugger, no doubt. The range that you are shooting at may have some burms that make shooting 300 more difficult.
