savage factory f-class rifle??

my buddy wants to start trying some L.R.target/varminting,he is stuck on 6.5-284,he's thinking about the new savage.
Does anyone know anything about the chambers??? I assume they're SAAMI but will they take the thicker lapua without neck turning? They are calling it 6.5-284 Norma. savage won't talk. thanks

I don't know anybody that has one of the new Savage F-class 6.5-284 rifles yet so I can't do anything but speculate on their chamber dimensions, but I'll bet that the Lapua brass will work just fine. The label on the box that Lapua ships its brass in reads 6.5-284 Norma.
