I just purchased a Savage long action large shank and it is currently controlled feed, Can I swap this to a push feed bolt head? I have the correct size push feed head but am not sure of this as its my first controlled feed. Thanks in advance

Should be doable. Swap out the bolt head as normal. The standing ejector is held in place by the cross pin that holds the trigger assembly in place. It's easy to remove.
The only thing you may run in to are some firing pin size issues. You'll just have to see what you have once you get going with the swap.
