Hi Folks
I'm new to this forum. I know this is a common problem with the Savage 93 but I have not read any common solutions beyond sending your rifle back to Savage.
I've noticed that my firing pin (or striker) is a bit longer on the top than the bottom (part that actually strikes the rim of the cartridge).
I was wondering if anybody has tried to carefully file the end of the striker so they are even?
Currently I have a nice impression on my barrel face where the striker is hitting, obviously move than the cartridge rim.
Any help would be great.
