savage 12 lrpv rifle

Shaun, The rifle will shoot better when you find the optimal settings. Most agree that torqueing the front 2 screws, in stages, to the same setting, in the range of 25-30 inch pounds, and then bringing up the rear screw torque in stages from 5 to 25 inch pounds is productive. Or just go 30-30-25 and forget it. Seymour

Dude, you gonna believe a guy who shoots for Team Savage, or some guy you overheard down at the bar/pawnshop/where-ever ? knock yourself out

Shaun,

I agree Seymour. All of my three screw actions shoot best with the two front screws at 30 inch pounds and rear screw at 25 inch pounds.

Good shooting,
Gene
