Where do I order a bolt head for my Savage LRPV 12 to convert from a small base to a PPC bolt head to make a 17 PPC ?

Best to have one made. PT&G made a couple of 17 VHA heads for me. Came out .

Order a .378 (223) bolt head from Brownells or Midway and then have one of the gents on here open it up for the PPC.

My guess is that there's probably a bunch of them floating around here.

Had one opened up to fit a 6.8 SPC. Cost me the postage. It pays to know folks.

I've ordered a few and some were mislabeled.......Grizzly sells them too....but I don't think in the PPC...The nice lady at Grizzly went out into the warehouse and grabbed the ones they had in stock and measured them for me! I made sure she sent the right one......great customer service....

I have a 20PPC 9-twist Pac-Nor barrel on a Savage LRPV, it has a right hand bolt with a left hand port. I had to purchase a "Left Hand" PPC bolt for this rifle. It's been a few plus years ago, I think I purchased it from Sharp Shooters Supply.
