Thanks for looking and Merry Christmas for sale is a model 12 Savage long range precision in .223. This is the older detachable magazine HS precision stock with the cheek piece. I believe this rifle started off as a .204 but is now a 223 I have actually owned it twice. The barrel is a Krieger either 7.7 twist or 8 twist. I did not own it when it was put on, it is 28 inches and at one time had a damaged crown it was repaired, but it’s not a pretty job. The gun shoots wonderful I bought it last fall off of a friend at a sportsman’s club that I sold it to a couple years ago so that he would stop beating me with it at the benchrest matches. The last several years it has shot 75 grain, hornady new ammunition and maintains .75 MOA out to 300. This barrel no longer uses the Savage nut. It has been reworked for a direct install threaded shank type. Then the action was bedded in the stock. It is much heavier than an average Savage varmint and it tips a scales at 13 pounds asking 650 and I will split the shipping
