Savage 12 F Class

Anyone know if Savage still offers the 12 F Class in a dual port? None of my local gun shops can find out from their distributors. I tried calling Savage but was on hold for almost an hour & did not get to talk to anyone.

I've never seen a Savage Model 12 F Class NOT having a dual port. Having said that, you might consider calling Bruno's (623-587-7641) and ask for Jason or Lester. I'm sure they can tell you as they sell Savages rifles. They're closed on Sundays and open only half a day Saturdays. Just a thought.

My savage f class is rprb and my savage benchrest is dual port.Don't know if this is how they are all made but mine are this way. ED K

I have a savage that starter right bolt right port and the previous owner milled his own left port in it.

I believe the F class is right port only and the Benchrest is the dual port. If you want a dual port and they are not available any longer, I have a dual port, benchrest model 12 in 6BR that I plan to list for sale here, I just haven't gotten around to taking pics.

I think okshooter may have just answered the question and forces me to correct my response. It should read, I've never seen Savage Model 12 Benchrest that is not a dual port. MY BAD!

Got a hold of Savage today. They have never offered the F Class in a dual port & the Benchrest model has always been dual port.

Bought a 12 benchrest, bullets are loaded, now waiting on my scope & mounts. Got a heck of a deal on the gun, $1244.00 out the door.
