Savage 12 benchrest in 6mmbr

Bought a Factory Savage a few months ago and have shot it quite a bit. Had a few 2s a few 3s but mostly avg.in the 5s Only thing I've done to the gun is shorten the ejector spring. I've been thinking I should glass bed the action. It's already piller bedded. Anybody out there bed one of these? Do you think it would help? It seems to already have good wood to metal contact, would you just skim bed it, bed just the recoil lug, or do the whole action? Any thoughts on this would certainly be appreciated.

I skim bedded a LRPV, including the back side of the recoil lug, and the tang area. Here is a photo, and the first three 100 meter groups out of the gun after bedding. Perhaps I got lucky... I was OK with the results.
