Savage 112 Single Shot Follower

My Savage 112 .223 seems to have feeding issues. If I load several rounds in the magazine the last one will not feed and it is difficult to single load. I have been looking for a Single Shot Follower and have not had any luck finding one. I can find them for the model 12 but not the 112. They tell me a model 12 might fit but there not sure.
I have looked at a model 12 .223 and the feed area does look different.
If anyone knows where I might find one it would be appreciated.

I have had decent luck with the score high followers. They aren't great but with a little tinkering and some epoxy to hold in place they will work.

The SSS single shot tray is very functional. I have several and recommend, as long as you are not in a hurry although it's possible they will ship one out right away. Go on their website, print and fill out the order form and send it in. They do business like it's still 1910 but they are trustworthy. I suggest you send them an email (Lisa) and see if they are in stock before sending them money.

EA Brown co. has them for 11.00 but they will not work in the new center feed actions. If you have an older stager feed they will work.

One thing you didn't mention is if it's the older stagger feed (mag is attached to the bottom of the action) or the newer center feed (mag stays in the stock when the action is removed).
Older stagger feed, single shot follower will fit on top of the mag spring.
Newer center feed takes a special single shot mag that Sharp Shooter Supply sells. And, the "112" is a long action. Depends on how old the rig is. Could be a "J" Series but we won't go there for now.
