hey i ended up with this 110 fp in 308 with choate sniper stock and was wondering if the old 110 is capable of the accuracy of todays savages... any thoughts ? should i move it on or work on a load for it... it has been shot very little, maybe 250 rounds. thanks guys..

I run a couple of the "old" style flat back Savages....they will still shot right up there with the new ones. It's really funny that almost 12 years ago Savage built competition Models in 223 Rem, .308 Win, and 300 Win Mag and they didn't seem to sell (except of course I bought them) or have the hype that todays Target Actions do, they are the 112BT & 112BTS. Adjustable stocks, vent. forearms w/rails, stainless steel blackened barrels and if I remember not much over $600, (I know the .223 Rem I have was $549 new) of course that was a lot of money for some to spend on a Savage.
