As the title says, I have a Savage 110E 300WM, I am looking to upgrade the stock from wood to synthetic of some type and at the same time I was thinking of replacing the blind box mag with a box mag that has the trap door. I've always liked them better for when it comes to unloading the rifle.......just seems a lot safer.
My question is can it be done and how difficult is it? I have read a bit on the subject, but find it is better to get advice from those that may have been and done the same.
