Savage 110 scope base screw spacing

Can somebody please tell me what the scope base screw spacings are for the Savage 110 Long and Short actions.

According to the Weaver base specs, the spacing of the front and rear bases screw pairs is 0.86in. It is the distances in between that I am interested in.

They have changed multiple times over the years... My suggestion is measure the action you have and order bases for that.

If I had the actions to hand I would have measured them myself (I'm quite capable of doing that) but I do not have them. My actual interest is/was to see if a Weaver one piece base for a Savage 110 could be adapted to fit another brand/model of action I have, which has badly misaligned base mounting screw holes. I was NOT hoping to find that the screw holes in that base matched the action - that was never going to happen. It was more that I wanted to be sure that the existing hole positions would not clash with the new ones I would need to drill.

I eventually found the spacing info on line, at www.alanrhone.com, quoting from the Recknagel catalogue. Weaver don't list it anywhere on their web site that I could find. However, after browsing a lot of material, I figured out that that this idea was not going to work anyway. So back to investigating other possibilities.

Hmm, I believe you can get sections of picatiny rails that are blanks and drill the holes yourself. That would be my suggestion.
