What is the twist?? 1 in 7 or 1 in 9????

I notice it has the older style barrel nut? Was that something you swapped out or did it happen to come factory that way? Wish they would go back to it and stop using the smooth one all together.

Very nice looking rig and sure it shoots great!

Skeet, it shows a 9twist on the Savage website for these. I believe if it were a 7 it would say it on the side of the barrel next to the chambering markings.
