Savage 11 magazine replacement

Hello all, new member here. I've used this site for so much good info in the past, and finally got around to creating an account. I tried searching, but didn't find any answers to this question.

I have a savage 11 that was originally a 22-250. I am going to be turning it into a 350 legend for deer hunting in Ohio. It's a stagger feed internal box mag. For the life of me I cannot find a replacement mag that will fit(.223 size mag). I've checked Numrich, GunBroker, ebay... Does anyone know where to find one, and if not, how to modify the original mag or fit a mag from a different firearm to allow it to feed 350 legend? Thanks in advance!

Those parts have been obsolete for almost ever. There are 2 basic blind magazines, Stagger feed and Center feed. The Stagger feed have a lip on each end and those fit in a slot and are staked in the action. The Center feed is floating and held in place by an L shaped tab that fits under the trigger guard.

As you seem to already know the 223 box is what is needed, however which follower will work I have no idea.

If you were a Wis. resident I would be willing to swap you your Model 11 Blind mag action for a Model 11 DBM action I have.

Thank you for the offer, I appreciate it, unfortunately I am not a Wisconsin resident.

As it sits now, the magazine will function with 1 in the mag. Worst case I have a 2 shot bolt action. I was just looking to see if there were any other solutions. I was considering cutting an AR-15 mag down and making a bracket to mount to the receiver, but would have to open the receiver to accept the wider ar mag, and am also not certain the bolt will reliably strip a round from the magazine
