Sauer action

Do all Sauer actions come as slick as the one Borklop is shooting in the daily bulletin?
If not, who will make an action that slick? Are they benchrest quality? I would think they would need to be a little loose to be that slick.
He wouldn't be able to eat for a month if he tried to cycle my actions that fast.

I had an Sauer 202 hunting rifle in 300 win mag and that is the smoothest action ive ever worked, by tilting the rifle slightly the bolt slides back and forth and i hardly could tell a diffrence running ammunition thru it or no ammunition.
Often opened the bolt to make sure there really was a round in the chamber as the effort was so little from picking an round from the magazine.
Accuracy was in the sub half inch area for my rifle off the bench but its not a rifle to shoot at the bench all day long being an sporter weight 300 win mag with a skinny barrel.
Mine had a set trigger and its the best trigger ive ever tried on any rifle.

I dont know what the diffrence is between the 200 STR or the 202 action if there is any..
As to quality they are extremely well made but they are modular rifles so i dont know if they can deliver accuracy in the bechrest level.
You can change barrels and stocks with just an hex key in minutes and change the rifle from an big game rifle to a varmint rifle or light hunting rifle

Holly smokes, thanks for that. That guy is amazing.

This makes me want one. Why doesn't everybody have one of these? Can't be cheap.

Yes, Sauers are that good out of the box. A couple rubs come in with Sauers. First is the cost, you can buy a custom action as cheap or maybe for less $. 2nd, their accuracy in Part come from the fact that the bolt locks into the barrel much in the same manner that a AR locks up. Big difference is that on the Sauers they not have an extension that screws onto the barrel. It's broached into the barrel itself. The plus side is that the barrels are interchnangeable without headspacing. All it takes is a long allen wrench. I've never seen a Sauer that wasn't accurate. Fantastic rifle & if you can afford it, you won't be disappointed.
