Satellite Broadband

Just recontacted Wildblue and they are going to have more beams available in my area in March.

I gotta bite the bullet. I am having fits with the pokey dial up loading fancy pages. I have requested a installation and have not signed any contracts yet.

Any body using satellite? Thoughts?

We have used satellite internet service through Earthlink.net for several years. Faster than dial up but slower than cable or dsl. Live in a rural area and cable or dsl are not available. Satellite is more expensive, but for us it is the only broadband service available. Vic
