Salt Lake City & Scheels

If you can swing north, the Browning museum in Ogden is a great place to visit.

Scheels is okay. They had a whole bunch of BR4 primers last fall. Not sure if that is still the case.

I get to the Great Falls Scheel's and have been in the Billings store a few times. Definitely no deals, but, the staff in the gun department is older and knowledgeable. At the Great Falls store a salesman spent a lot of time with us explaining the difference in color transmission in different models of Swarovski binoculars. One model was better for bird watchers, another was better for deer/ elk hunters. Two of us already had Swarovski's, on our return from eastern Montana the other guy bought a pair. It's well worth no deals if the staff is knowledgeable and can answer questions. I get tired of little children playing salesman.

I like the one in Coralville, Iowa. I would consider prices average and sometimes some pretty good sale prices. Its a good store for me to kill time in when the wife is running her shopping errands.

Better prices than BPS/Cabelas, store closest to me has a lot of Hornady bullets. But had little 22 rf? Other 2 I have been in had much more rf ammo.
