NEVER, EVER Sell Hand-loaded Ammunition in the Forum Classifieds. This will get you Banned.

For liability reasons, Forum rules prohibit the sale of ANY and ALL hand-loaded (non-factory ammunition) in our Marketplace. There are no exceptions. This applied to ammo reloaded by businesses (the stuff they sell at gunshows) as well.

If we see an advert with hand-loaded ammunition for sale, the ad will be deleted immediately, without notice.

Persons who have been notified about a violation of this policy, and who continue to break the Forum rules, will be permanently banned from the FORUM forever. There will be no discussion, no "grace period", no appeals, no recourse EVER.

Question for Forum Boss : Sometimes when a Rifle is Sold , the Seller will say he will throw in so many Loaded Rounds . Is this Forbidden also ?

Forum Boss: Absolutely. Sales of Any handloaded ammo is 100% forbidden. Seller will be banned forever.

When a member is banned he/she will never, ever be allowed to participate in the Forum.

I would think any hand loaded ammunition rifle or not would be a liability. Just cause you sold the rifle don't mean the ammo is safe. Many loaders push max and beyond even their own rifles. Fireformed brass and primed brass should be ok tho. Correct me if I am wrong

ASIDE from the liability issue [which could be larger THAN the US economy], it is ILLEGAL under FEDERAL LAW!

YOU MUST have a FEDERAL REMANFACTUREING LIC. & PAY !!% of the SALE PRICE!! [ROBERTSON/PITMAN ACT 1934?]

i had one from '85 - '88 and they [feds] were on me like stink on s-----!

my lawyer informed me that there was NO DISCLAIMER in the WORLD that could keep you SAFE!

GIVE AWAY AMMO - TAKE IT AND PULL IT APART FOR THE BULLET/PRIMER/CASE ---

WRITE YOUR NAME IN THE FRONT LAWN WITH THE POWDER!!!!

Absolutely forbidden.

Yes some sellers do this, but they are violating our rules, and we have to chase this down.

Just for clarification.....

Is live primed brass OK to sell? Not loaded ammunition, just prepped brass with live primers.

Thanks,
Corey

I also had a Manufacturers FFL from 1970 until about 1997. My attorney told me the same thing about the uselessness of the disclaimer and I stop commercially reloading in 1986. I just purchased a used rifle and the guy wanted to only do the sale if I took 300 rounds of ammo that he had. His asking price was a little less than half the cost of new factory, but when I looked at it I could tell they were reloads. Fortunately he finally sold me the rifle without the ammo as I was not going to take it.

Sorry. Wasn't thinking. Just trying to list everything with rifle. Will remove ASAP

What about commercial ammo? What do you need to do to list and sell commercial ammo here? For example, I am getting out of one caliber and have 200 or so rounds available for sale. How do I proceed?
