Sako threads

Blair the most pre Baretta Sako's were metric. The tenon was short on the L461 and you could get away with 16 tpi. There were some Sako's made in the 1970's with Wentworth threads but most had Metric. I know my Sako 95 (post Barretta purchase of Sako) has metric threads.

Thanks Nat. I have rebarrelled some Tikas that were inch but haven't done a Sako yet.

Blair,
The only two I rebarelled in 1995 for the german Palma Team were metric 1,50mm.
I donot remember if they were MF25x1,50 or MF25x1,50?.

1.50mm is close to 16toi (1.5875mm).

Surprised to read there could have been some with Withwoth threads? Finland is an ISO metric country and Withwoth 55° are obsolete even in England...except for piping (no pum)
