sako ppc chamber question,,,,

on the main board there was an inquiry about a sako factory ppc value,,,I asked if Lapua brass would work in one of those rifles,,,they never answered so I am asking the people who shoot them,,,is the chamber smaller at the .200 line than Lapua brass which would require some other brand/size of ctg. brass,,,I realize they may need to be trimmed to length but what about base line??? .....I would like to know what is required to shoot one of these rifle using modern day brass that is available on todays market,,,,,thank you ...Roger

I have 2 Sako 6mm PPC USA rifles and I use Norma brass. I believe there would be no problem using Laupa brass as far as the 200 line is concerned, but you may have to turn the necks. Alpha brass has a .014 neck and to use this brass in the Sako chamber (.271) the neck needs to be turned for proper clearance. I'm sure you could get a definitive answer at the link below.
