This is a new, never barreled Sako L579 action with a .308 bolt face (.473). It is complete with trigger and bottom metal.

The L579 actions are highly desirable for custom builds. They only are rarely seen as stand alone actions anymore.

Must ship to an FFL, all rules apply.

Basic .308 Win. cartridges:
.300 Savage, .243 Win., .260 Rem., 7mm-08 Rem., .338 Federal and .358 Win.


This action is not just limited to the .308 Win. family of cartridges but can be expanded to include cartridges such as the Creedmoor family (.25, 6.5 and 6mm), as well as the X47 Lapua cartridges. For the nostalgic shooters, the .220 Swift and factory 6mm Remington will fit as well. Literally any of the .473 diameter cases limited to the 2.800" length can be worked through this magazine.

The trigger is adjustable which eliminates the purchase of an expensive, aftermarket trigger.

The L579 is a desirable action for the high end rifle builds.
