SELLING Sako bolt assembly complete .473 case head (30-06)

I bought this to use with a switch barrel gun to have 7mm RM and a 338-06 barrel. I never got around to using it but it’s nice to have that option if you want a classic Mauser rifle in something like a 280-AI, etc.

I also have on another thread a 338-06 AI barrel that was on a Sako.

Well, a Sako is a commercialized 98 Mauser, as I understand it, so yes to both.
I bought this one as a Sako but never used it. I just left my rifle as a 7mag.
But I did cycle it and it seemed to fit and cycle well.

The Sako’s I am familiar with are a push feed design with a unique extractor and a guide rail. The bolt you have looks to be a classic Mauser controlled round feed with a claw extractor.
