Sako A2 - 250 Savage AI

This is is a very nice, low round count (around 400 rounds fired) Sako A II custom built by by Bob Jourdan (gunsmith and writer for Precision Shooting magazine) in 1993.

Features:
SAKO AII made in Finland action (virtually the same as 579 Forester)
McMillan Black Varmint stock
24" Hart 1:12 twist, 24" stainless barrel with mini scroll finish
.250 Savage Ackley Improved chamber
Sako Optilock base set with 1" medium rings included (SCOPE NOT INCLUDED)
Factory adjustable Sako trigger, very nice, around 2lbs and crisp.
Weight of bare rifle is 9lbs, 1oz (weight as shown in pics is about 10lbs 10oz with scope)

Extras included
1. 46 pieces of R-P Brass, three firings, in good shape
2. Redding custom made bushing die set, (was using a 279 bushing)
3. 50pcs R-P 250 savage brass
4. 2 modified cases for the Hornady OAL tool

The bolt face has a minor bit of etching around the primer edge, as shown in pic, does not affect anything, leave no marks on brass

The rifle loads, fires, extracts and works perfect in all ways. No malfunctions or hang ups anywhere. It runs like a Sako should but improved by Mr. Jourdan.

$1225 for rifle, dies, brass and rings
Plus shipping to your ffl from individual

Geez I wish I had the money for this. Bob was a great friend of mine. The .250 savage Ackley is a very very very good cartridge.
And this one is built on one of the best factory actions ever made. Excellent rifle all around
