Kudos to Saint Barb’s Bullets. I just tried them for the first time. A good price on SMK 142’s by today’s standards. I placed my order on Sunday and got the order today. By ordering more than $150, I got free shipping. Good deal and good service.
 
Did a little further checking on St. Barbs bullet via BBB and scam detector. Google it up. They gave it a 58.3 rating and are skeptical of the site. So I would be cautious in dealing with them, personally.
 
Thanks for that. I will consider myself lucky this time and be watching to make sure some odd charges don’t start hitting that credit card.

i went to their site - evidently they are in seattle— ooops i didnt check for Varget and 105 hybrids:oops:

PS. they did have sierra 107s

I wonder if Steve received his bullets yet??? Always good to have another trusted site for bullets and any other reloading supplies.

That is a big red flag for me. I shy away from doing business with anyone on the internet that fails to supply a physical address and phone number, even if they don't have a store front. What is so super secret about their business that they cannot give that info to a customer?
Only contact is by email? That tells me that they will only talk to you if they want to.

Yes, It had taken a while because the shop had a COVID issue. It took about seven days to get them because of the issue.
 
Someone please let me know when you see Hornady #22810 7mm 120gr. Vmax in stock at Saint Barbs.

About 12 days ago I ordered 1000 107 SMK bullets.
Got an order confirmation but did not receive any shipping notification and could not find a phone #. I was able to locate the phone # through the credit card company which I used. Called the number, no answer, voice mailbox not taking any new messages. I emailed them and received a prompt personal response, and about 3 days later I received a shipping notification. The bullets should be here Saturday, hopefully.
 
Hey folks - Bit late to the party, but we were Googling ourselves and saw this thread.

Never heard of us? We're pretty new, we launched at the end of 2020 selling on GunBroker, then launched our own site around March 2021. We also don't advertise much, outside of listing our products on Gun Deals and AmmoSeek (we're doing an experiment with some Google ads at the moment but they keep pulling them down because they're upset that we have ammo listed on our site).

We're based in Seattle, and operate a mixed business model of shipping stock from our own warehouse, and drop-shipping from a bunch of suppliers around the US, so that we can aim to be cheap and fast. About 60-70% of our orders at the moment are shipping same or next business day, with the rest going out within 4 business days. Sometimes one of our suppliers may end up with a backlog (COVID, surge in orders for various reasons, one supplier tried to upgrade their warehouse system and it didn't go smoothly) so we always try to let folks know if there orders will take any longer than that to ship.

We don't have a customer service phone number, mainly because we're an extremely small team that works on a flexible schedule, designed to ship orders fast and provide email support coverage for as much of the day as possible. Right now there's just no way our team could be in a position to answer phone calls, and we'll look into what number our credit card processor is handing out, as it should have gone to voice mail explaining how to contact us.

Our About Us page has links at the bottom to all the places that we know of where people leave us reviews: https://saintbarbsbullets.com/about/. Between all those channels there's over a thousand reviews which hopefully shows we're not a scam, but always happy to answer any specific questions or concerns, and the best way to get us is talktous@saintbarbsbullets.com

For availability of anything, like the https://saintbarbsbullets.com/product/hornady-bullets-7mm-284-cal-120gr-v-max-100ct/, there's a 'Join Waitlist' button which will fire off an email to you when we get stock. We've never sent out any advertising emails, and if we do it would have to be for a VERY good reason, so the only emails you should get from that are for stock availability on that specific product.
