could sac valley host a national ? range is same size as Minnequa i think?

Same size ranges, but range capacity might not be the way to judge. Rather by shooters' whim, restaurants and accommodations! History shows that it was held at SACV in 2010...but with only 76 competitors attending. Just the year before, in 2009; it was held at Butner, NC, a 100-firing point range with 140 competitors attending. Yet it was held in 2008 at Lodi by Winnequah Gun Club, before the advent of ETs, with 119 competitors attending. Relative to the other two popular F-Class 100-point ranges in the country, Ben Avery and Whittington, in that order...their competitor draws mostly have been in line with that of Butner. Go figure. (And now Butner is installing ETs.)
