SAAMI specs and factory rifles

Good day all. I was wondering about one thing about SAAMI. Should all factories use SAAMI specs when producing a rifle?

E.G. I have a new 270 WIN that I have struggled with accuracy. In the process of reloading I bought some Nosler bullets.... when looking at the Nosler Load data I saw Nosler noted that the SAAMI spec is 3.340' and loaded ammo COL spec is 3.320'.... so I checked my COL in the rifle to the lands...its 3.412' and when I make the jump 0.02' the ammo does not fit the magazine.

SAAMI is a "Volunteer Compliance Organization", meaning that they have standards, but companies are not mandated to comply with them.

Most factories do stay within SAAMI limits. But that has nothing to do with throat length.

Throat and leade dimensions vary greatly , and are not designed (on purpose) for the bullets to touch the rifling - this is a safety issue.

It is very rare that bullets that are seated to magazine length, will touch the rifling.
