S&B Elevation Turret good or bad

I purchased a S&B 5-25x56 PMII. I love everything about the scope except for the elevation turret. It’s difficult to turn and easy to blow past your desired clicks. When I played with it at the store I felt like I would get used to it but now I’m not sure. My question is for people who have this turret, did you get used to it? I love everything about the scope and I’m starting to second guess myself after playing with the turret. Thoughts? It’s a lot of freaking money to not love everything about the scope.

I just asked on snipers hide, the relevant responses were:

"Call the S&B service center in Winchester, VA. They can disable the MTC but it has to be sent in."

and

"Just a suggestion. If you will simple dial it around for a while two things happen. the clicks get a bit less pronounced and your hands get a bit more used to them. I have come to like them and can now hit the first click after the mil click with regularity."

Hot damn. Thanks for the response.
