Russia getting nitrocellulose from Western sources??

I've never seen anything to indicate the WSJ is anything other than pretty spot on with their info and Turkey being a member of NATO has shown more than a few times they play both sides for their own gain. It's an interesting read and completely plausible.

This happened under the watchful eye of the US state dept???? They realigned the planets to get Britney Griner back, Probably no one there that even knows what Nitrocellulose is. DEI at it's finest.

Hard to believe we are selling nitro cellulose to Russia and the only people that know about it are a few newspaper writes. Really
You think this white house would do anything about it? They're too busy trying to help pay for Iran's nuclear weapons program.

And you are surprised why? Prior to December 7, 1941 the U.S. sold thousands of metric tons of steel and other materials to Germany and, most especially, Japan while manufacturers/business men cried when Roosevelt tried to slow trade with both of them down to get more leverage in peace negotiations. A lot of that material we got back...with interest...in the form of bombs and other weaponry turned on us and our allies. The almighty buck at its best...and it is worshiped by BOTH sides of the aisle

I read that 4 countries including the US and Germany were sending cotton to Turkey (not nitro Cellulose. Turkey was turning it into nitro cellulose and sending it to Russian. Totally unverified? I would think they grow plenty of cotton in the middle East.
