Russ went by rpeacock on here. As a benchrest shooter in NW SD you better be a traveler. With that in mind I don't think Russ made near as many matches as he'd liked. Regardless he was none the less a shooter.

I first met Russ shooting 600 yd matches at the Varmint Hunter Assoc. He was always puzzling over some screw-ball idea. The world will be a poorer place with his passing. Rest In Peace my friend.

Didn't know the gentleman but he was a shooter so we have lost another good guy. I suspect competitive shooters are the smallest segment of gun owners any loss is a big loss.

Sad to hear, I had several nice conversations with Russ via PM's.

Interesting to see that he was with us here till Saturday.
