Ruger Vaquero 45 Colt tuning

Is there anyone you'd recommend over Ruger to send my Vaquero for refinish, timing, reaming cylinders and throat for cast? I know there are some well respected 'smiths that can do this but would like recommendations from other's who've used them. TIA!

Years ago, Cylinder & Slide do an action job and trigger stop in my Vaquero. Still as excellent today as it was when originally done.

My other Vaquero, I did the action job, not quite as smooth & slick as the Cylinder & Slide job but still better than the factory, I also fitted a Bisley hammer and Free Spin Pawl to it as well.

I would inquire with Cylinder & Slide and see what they say. I think Bill has fully retired and not sure who has taken over the shop.

Forgot to add my Vaquero is a colored case Bisley.

According to Tyler's website, the only services they currently offer is color casing, bluing, & engraving.

I'll check out C&S services.
