Just curious if anyone here has tried the Target/Varmint 6.5 Creedmore from Ruger. I've owned their Target Gray's in 22PPC, 6PPC and 22-250 and they all were very good shooters.......the PPC's were beyond very good and the -250 was the best 22-250 I'd ever owned in over 40 years of messing with them and that's saying something!! Just contemplating trying the 28" barreled model in Creedmore. Charlie (GHD)

I have one. Don't reload yet. Shoots federal american 140 gr bullet 7/8 group. Shoots a Hornaday whitetail 129 gr 1/2 to 7/8. All other gr Hornaday not as good , over a inch. But I know it will shoot lot better with handoads. What I like is gun don't kick. What I don't like is palm on stock is a little thick for my hand. Martyd

My buddy has a Gen 1. Loves it. Accurate. Devours factory Hornady ammo. Hasn't reloaded yet due to factory ammo shooting in low 0.2s.

They shoot pretty well. I still don't like the 2 stage trigger. And I just might know where there'll be one or two for sale in about 6 weeks or so. If you're interested send me a PM. WD
Yep mind just will not shoot the 140, 142 or 143 of any brand under 1 1/4. That is factory. Barrel bedded and trigger work. But i think it will do a lot better once I reload. Does shoot 140 federal America Eagles real good. Only brand of 140 it will shoot good tried hornaday , Speer and one other brand I think. Martyd
