I have a Redhawk (not Super) from the '80s. I put a spring kit in it some time ago. I got a nice single action pull but I recently had it not fire some rounds loaded with (IIRC) CCI primers when shooting double action. Single action, no problem. Switched to Federal primers, seems to have solved the issue but I may put the original springs back in to be sure.My Super RedHawk is so much more fun to shoot after a professional single action trigger job.
I love the Redhawk, it is a beautifully strong gun. I have an 85 6-shot 357 mag and an 85 blued 44-Maghad it not fire some rounds loaded with (IIRC) CCI primers when shooting double action. Single action, no problem. Switched to Federal primers, seems to have solved the issue
10” TC barrel in .222 bought it for squirrel hunting years ago.If you think a 30 carbine is loud in a pistol, a 10” TC barrel barks about as loud.
