I have had this revolver for MANY years and my have shot 50 rounds through it. The story behind it is I read an article by Craig Boddington about using the 45 LC Vaquero in Africa as a dangerous game piece in a last resort situation.
I bought several 45 LCs, but seeing as we have a paucity of dangerous game in Middle TN, I got over my then-new addiction quickly. But I did put quite a few rounds through the Vaquero- mostly 300gr hard cast bullets with a lotta powder. An example of youthful folly, it was.
