Ruger Precision Rifle

I just now happen to come across an article on the new Ruger Precision Rifle which apparently comes in .243, 6.5 Creedmore and .308 calibers. I'm kinda of a bolt gun guy, but that Ruger has me interested. So does anyone have experience with, has shot or has more info on the pluses and minuses of that particular rig? I'm interested in it's accuracy and in either 6.5 Creedmore or .308 calibers. Any commments would be much appreciated. Thx guys.

lots of info out there with a little google-fu.

I have one in 6.5 creedmoor. It is overall, a nice gun. Groups with very little load development are producing just over 3/8" groups at 100 yards for 3 shots.

I think it is the best value tactical bolt action rifle out there, if you can find one.

Go over to the Sniper's Hide forums. There is a ton of info there. Frank Gali (Lowlight) has video's of him shooting one, along with upgrades. Seems like a good deal and fairly accurate. He is a proponent of the 6.5 Creedmoor. Consistent hits at 1125.
