Ruger precision rifle 6.5 CM

Hey guys. I'm looking to swapping out my RPR 6.5 barrel for a match one. I have been looking around alot and found a few. Anyone recommend one that thay personal use?? Thank you

LRI (Chad Dixon)has very good barrels, excellent customer service...I am on the second barrel threaded and chambered by them. I have heard nothing but good reports about Patriot Valley Arms also.

Proof Research now makes barrels for the RPR I have one on order. Have heard good things about most of them. I don't really think you will go wrong with any one of them.....

Criterion are the only folks that I am aware of where you can specify the contour up to 1.0" and the barrel length. LRI is a 6 groove as opposed to the factory 5R.

LRI will do custom contours....it will take longer than the standard offerings. I had Chad machine my last one as a custom.

Why not go with a Krieger one of the top barrels out there, , buy a blank have a good smith finish it, some keep 6.5 in stock like Bruno shooter supply

I can personally vouch for Josh at Patriot Valley. Check out some of his customers post on Snipers Hide as far as accuracy of his chambered barrels goes. Being an engineer by trade definitely shows in his chambering work. I recently had him chamber my
6x47 Lapua . Even though it is a #4 contour this is one of the most accurate barrels that I have ever owned. Customer service is his number one priority and shows in his work. Nice to see someone take pride in their work.

I put a Proof Research on my rifle. It is a 6MM Creedmoor and it is a hammer. I just went with the SS not a carbon fiber one. Great people to work with.....

I know that's an older post. So update. I just ordered from Krieger a prefit, Factory chamber, factory contour, 26". $550. My stock RPR barrel went south right at 2100 round. Mike
