The heavy barrel is 26” in length and has a recessed crown. The stock is one-piece brown laminated stock
The rifle has what Ruger refers to as a Target Grey finish which is appears as a dull satin grey. The finish is original and this rifle has been a safe queen since purchase. The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp and there is no erosion in the bore. The trigger pull is light and crisp. This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish
